You've probably seen a lot of these letters and requests for help.
That's the one reason I didn't want to do this. But I have decided
to give it a try and maybe by chance someone would understand my dilemma.

My request is for anyone wishing to make contribution or donation
towards the purchase of a van for transportation. Any amount would
be deeply appreciated. For those who would like to help and can't,
we would ask you to pray for our success in the endeavor. We
believe in the power of prayer, and we're thankful for your prayers.

You probably ask why are we making this request why not get a job
and work for a van? It would be the greatest thrill in the world if
I could go to work daily like everyone else. You see, I am in a
wheelchair, diagnosed with a muscle weakness that will not allow me
to stand or work or walk. I cannot lift my 3 year old daughter or
lean over to kiss my 7 year old daughter good night. The van is
needed to relieve my wife of some of the strain of moving me in and
out the car, which at this time is not working and with our limited
income the continued repairing has mounted up. And still no
running dependable car.

Donations are needed for this disable father of 2 and loving wife
to purchase a van for travel to another state for further medical
testing. Although the closest diagnosis is for muscular dystrophy
a clear diagnosis has not yet been determined.

We will be happy to advertise any web business or retail business
on the van while traveling to the clinic, which is out of state. I also
have experience in computer graphics, digital photo, office
duplication, printing, web publishing and animation.

My first concern is dependable transportation. My wife has been so
supportive in this ordeal, that I would love nothing more than to
be healed and pay her back for all the support and help she has
given. She's had to do so many chores a husband usually does at
home and then help me everyday with things I can't do. She never
complains. She helps me in and out of the shower and in and out
of bed every morning. She helps me to get dressed, prepares meals
for her and me and the kids. All the chores. An equipped van would
be a great relief for her and for me. I have to transfer from an
electric wheelchair to a manual to travel in the car. That leaves
her pushing me around in the stores. Getting me in and out of the
car every place we stop. Lifting the wheelchair into the trunk and
back out again. I really can't begin to imagine what she goes
through but I know it has to be a task for her though she never
lead on. Then mowing our lawn in summer and taking out the trash
twice weekly. It never ends.

Whatever you can do, I thank you. If you are not able to help, I
thank you for reading this request.

"Another thing that hindered me from asking is pride. I really didn't won't to ask. What will people say? I've let my whole family down. I had been really debating if I wanted to do it. I honestly had second thoughts. But I received an e-mail and I never read an e-mail like it. And it read to the effect, are you to proud to ask for help? It happened to be the very first e-mail in my e-mail box that day. I didn't read into it I just knew I personally was being asked something."

Other things have occurred that's leading me to know without doubt. I need to go have more testing done. Unexplainable, extraordinary things.
